Diakos & Co is a boutique accounting firm specialising in medium to large sized businesses.  Located in the heart of the Melbourne CBD (Level 3, 480 Collins Street, Melbourne) this relatively young company has amassed an impressive portfolio of successful and influential clients (So I’ve been told.  Privacy act you see.  But I believe Nik, if you know him, you know he doesn’t beat around the bush, he just drives straight through it).  And it’s with this no BS mentality and intimate accounting knowledge that makes his clients intrust their millions with him.

Nik and his staff work the regulatory Monday to Friday, 8 to 5 but become a client, and you’ll discover the extraordinary lengths that Nik will go to, to not only reduce your tax, but to help your business grow.  Oddly enough, he’s one of the only accountants I know that will return a call or even answer his mobile.

Ultimately his target market, are his core clients, medium to large sized businesses.  Solely relying on “word of mouth” advertising this social media live case study, is sure to bring in welcome problems in the form of many clients with tax issues.

This will no doubt be an interesting social media case to follow as not only are professional services not highly represented in the social media space, but accountants themselves must abide by strict and regulated compliancing.

I have some great ideas for Nik’s business and he is aware of some of them.  Not only will this encompass huge business and personal achievements but will hopefully act as a guide to what can be achieved through social media in such a constricted and regulated industry.
