Social Media for your Business consists of 2 main parts.

  1. Setting it up
  2. Keeping it up to date, interesting and informative.

Many businesses get to stage 1 quite easily but fail at stage 2. And it’s easy to see why. Social Media takes time, a whole lot of time. And the catch is, the more time you WANT to spend on it, the more time you NEED to spend on it.

An editorial calendar will give you some guidance on what to do and when. It gives you a little accountability and once you keep regular your fans and followers will start to expect content from you on those days. Taking things like this seriously will greatly improve the effectiveness of your social media.

So today’s tip, is to start using an Editorial Calendar (I’ve attached one as an example) and if you have specific questions about how social media can help your business, please drop me an email or leave a comment below.

Also, if you want to a free social media checklist and be informed of the latest posts and news about social media, please join my email group with big bright pink box in the top right hand side.
